Ailleron delivers a new mobile app for SGB Group banks!

Ailleron has been providing banking solutions for many years, working with financial institutions from all around the world. We are pleased to announce that as part of fruitful cooperation with SGB-Bank SA, a new mobile banking application for SGB Group customers is now complete! The joint success was based on work carried out at record-high pace, which resulted in launching a pilot program in selected SGB Cooperative Banks.

SGB Group provides its services to more than 1,5 million customers in 192 branches in Poland. Stable relationships were always key to success for this institution. Its strategic goal is to create an innovative banking group implementing the latest technologies. Now, in cooperation with Ailleron, this group will have a chance to offer its services in an even more effective way, thanks to our mobile app.

The new SGB Mobile App guarantees security and a wide array of functionalities. It allows logging in using biometrics, as well as access to personal accounts, transaction history, the ability to make bank transfers, (including Express Elixir), add payment cards, and to use mobile payments, such as BLIK transfers. The application is distinguished by the ability to manage subscriptions to the most popular streaming and music services and gives the ability to manage cards added as part of digital wallets (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay), and in online stores.

– We are extremely happy to work with SGB Bank. Since the very beginning, our cooperation was perfect. Using agile methodologies will allow us to respond to changes in the project, implement all the key features, and meet all the ambitious deadlines. – says Marcin Rabicki, Sales Director, Ailleron SA.

The application system is based on the BS API. In its design, the opportunities offered by PSD2, specifically communication within the Polish API standards, have been fully used. The application user interface has been developed by a team of experienced Ailleron experts. It was based on the best practices of User Experience design and it includes all the special features of both operating systems and smartphones in general. Due to that, it is highly practical, universal, and safe.

– The SGB Mobile application meets all market standards and is the first in Poland to use the capabilities of PSD2 and Polish API mechanisms on such a large scale. – says Błażej Mika, Vice President of SGB-Bank SA. – Both sides of this cooperation made every effort to create this mobile banking system so quickly and make it available to all banks in the association, regardless of their operating system. I can confirm that we have a product that is modern, safe, in line with the latest trends in interface design, and at the same time user-friendly and tailored to the needs of our customers – adds Błażej Mika.

SGB Group has been choosing diverse solutions for many years. It has provided them to both individual customers and companies, mostly those in the agricultural industry. It has also combined over 160 years of experience with technological advancements. In the same time, this group is focused on its cooperation with business partners, and Ailleron, thanks to many years of providing solutions to banking sector entities, can support the group with practical solutions.

– Ailleron’s experience in that field was also a huge advantage in the process of platform creation. Until now, we had a chance to work with a variety of financial institutions in international environment. We are happy to support SGB Group, and we hope that its customers will soon see the difference caused by innovations we are going to implement. –  says Jacek Chylarecki, General Manager in Ailleron SA.
