A showcase of breakthrough technologies, inspiring real-life business scenarios, hands-on insights, and valuable networking opportunities – this is how this year’s highly anticipated Google Cloud event in Warsaw can be summed up. Once again, the conference brought together innovators, decision-makers, and technology enthusiasts eager to deepen their knowledge of artificial intelligence and Google Cloud – solutions that accelerate organizational growth and support success on the global stage. Among the attendees were, of course, experts from the Ailleron and LiveBank teams, who are sharing their key takeaways after attending the sessions and engaging in countless behind-the-scenes conversations at the summit.

Key Takeaways from GCS Poland 2025
The agenda of this year’s Google Cloud Summit was truly impressive. To deliver a comprehensive perspective on the hottest topics dominating today’s business and technology debate, the program was divided into six thematic tracks:
- “Beyond the Hype: Tangible Business Wins” – showcasing inspiring customer stories of organizations that achieved their business goals with Google Cloud.
- “Building a Secure Future: Security Essentials & Innovations” – focused on safeguarding workspaces and tools, protecting data and networks, and ensuring AI security, addressed to IT security professionals and technology leaders.
- “Decoding AI: Practical Applications & Future Directions” – highlighting the latest AI breakthroughs, real-world applications, and ways to bring these innovations into business.
- “Under the Hood: Real-World Implementations & Tech Insights” – centered on architectures, technologies, and hands-on approaches to problem-solving, while demonstrating Google Cloud in action across real business scenarios.
- “Google Cloud Live: In-Depth Demos & Expert Q&A” – delivering live demos and interactive sessions for a closer look at Google Cloud’s capabilities.
- “Geopolitics of Data: Achieving Sovereignty and Resilience” – providing a platform to discuss the critical challenges of data sovereignty in today’s geopolitical landscape.
Across all the thematic tracks, data naturally took center stage – particularly its complexity and its pivotal role in driving business and operational processes within organizations. The second key focus was on language models and the latest trends shaping artificial intelligence. Speakers emphasized that open solutions are not always the best fit for industries requiring highly specialized language or the highest security standards.

From Breakthroughs to Practice: How AI Strengthens Business Success
Maciej Iljaszewicz, General Manager Corporate Banking Tribe at Ailleron and participant in the “Decoding AI: Practical Applications & Future Directions” track, noted that the presenters – drawing on real-world case studies – demonstrated how AI is already being applied in business: from practices in use today, to innovations ready for near-term adoption, and even bold visions for the future direction of this technology.
The live demo was particularly valuable, as it showcased specific AI-driven tools and solutions in practice. It reinforced my belief that AI is more than just a buzzword – it’s a practical enabler of everyday processes and a driver of competitive advantage.

Mateusz Wierzbiński, Customer Success Manager, adds that during this module, the panelists emphasized the need to tailor models to the specific requirements of individual industries, ensuring they can genuinely support daily work in fields such as medicine or other highly regulated sectors.
The third key area discussed at GCS 2025 was education, where speakers highlighted the importance of accelerating the adoption of digital solutions in schools and building the skills of future generations.
Why Face-to-Face Connections Still Matter in a Digital World
Małgorzata Bąk, Product Owner, emphasized the value of meetings with partner companies at the exhibition booths, where participants had the chance to exchange experiences on cloud solution implementations. She also highlighted the opportunity to gather insights on new system and application capabilities that could potentially enhance the LiveBank portfolio.
Equally engaging were the presentations delivered by representatives of companies that are clients of Ailleron and LiveBank, who shared details of their implementations and systems that intersect with our shared banking ecosystem. Once again, GCS 2025 confirmed the importance of face-to-face interactions and knowledge exchange within the industry.
Michał Pomykała, Technical Product Owner, shared that during GCS 2025 he focused primarily on presentations covering technical concepts.
It’s worth noting that Google doesn’t just provide tools – it actively supports its clients, especially at the higher enterprise tiers. These services come at a cost, but they not only help automate company processes and optimize team workflows, they also enhance data security at multiple levels, particularly in the context of AI.

The Future of Security: Building Resilient Systems for Tomorrow
Presentations such as “Strategies for Securing Large Data Sets for AI” provided insight into the key components an AI-powered system should include. They also showcased ready-to-use Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, like Google Cloud’s Security Command Center (SCC), which enables both detection and anonymization of sensitive data. The system reportedly incorporates around 200 different mechanisms and can identify multiple types of data across systems, databases, conversations, and logs, while also protecting AI systems from potential attacks.
Sharing knowledge on Google solution implementations, as highlighted in the presentation “Cloud Armor Enterprise – Thoughts After 100 Days of Implementation”, helps illustrate just how much traffic attackers and hackers generate. We’re talking hundreds of thousands of requests per day – a scale that really puts the challenge into perspective. Tools like Cloud Armor make it easy and fast to mitigate these attacks, and the knowledge base supporting such solutions is constantly evolving.

Interestingly, while it’s possible to allow certain attacks, deploying a service like this is what truly reveals their scale and seriousness. It also enables the detection of traffic and system errors specifically related to our applications and clients, filtering out unnecessary noise. Moreover, it helps identify “silent attacks” – advanced, targeted tactics that don’t rely on automation but are used by sophisticated hackers. In the context of the enormous amount of information processed daily, these subtle threats could easily go unnoticed without such solutions.
The conference confirmed that Ailleron is not alone in facing requirements to export data to external SIEM/SOAR systems maintained by financial institutions – this has become an industry standard. Attendees also noted just how costly such undertakings can be, highlighting the importance of seeking solutions that are inexpensive to implement or optimizing existing systems, for example by leveraging other tools available in the PaaS model on Google Cloud Platform.
About Generative AI – From Promise to Practice
When it comes to AI, many trends are currently supporting marketing teams. However, generative AI models require significant effort to produce detailed and accurate results for a given prompt. One example came from the fashion industry, where generative AI is increasingly used to create product images or packshots. In the future, this could lead to an increase in returns, as customers might request refunds if an AI-generated image shows a different type of button or other detailed element than the one on the actual product. On the other hand, creating a lifelike AI model of a child helps reduce the stress that typically arises during challenging photo shoots and shortens the time needed to prepare a full set of client-ready images.
The conference also raised an important question: AI is becoming a standard feature in products – but is it truly safe? The presentation “Beyond the Build: Gen AI Agents Observability Implementation” highlighted the critical role of proper product architecture when integrating AI solutions. Attendees learned how to secure AI interfaces (both prompts and data) and ensure that AI outputs remain accurate and aligned with the trained model.
As always, the Google Cloud Summit provided an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge and see how the latest AI and cloud solutions drive innovation, optimize processes, and help organizations build a competitive edge. After exploring the key insights shared by our Ailleron and LiveBank experts, there’s only one thing left to do: turn these ideas from theory into practice!
